A collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute in London. A site-specific event involved a wide range of artists and performers including circus artist Mitch Mitchelson and the Commedia dell’Arte experts Didi Hopkins, Geoff Beale and Paola Cavallin. The Italian Institute of Culture was transformed into a Venetian Palace for an entire day to celebrate Carnival 2009. The performance included a variety of simultaneous acts and colourful parades to lead the audience on a journey of intriguing images, bizarre encounters, dance and music.
